Dear Sir / Madam, Good day! My name is Andrii Tishchenko, I am 34 years old. I am married and have two sons. I'm purposeful, hardworking, responsible, executive and initiative person without bad habits. I would be grateful if you consider my candidacy for the position of 3rd Engineer. I started my marine career with 14 years of experience as an auto mechanic. From 2004 to 2018 year permanently learning new material and improving my skills, I mastered almost all types of car repair including: gasoline and diesel engines, chassis, electrical systems, air conditioning systems,welding works. As the main kind of work I choose computer diagnostics and repair of fuel systems and electronic control systems of engine and automatic transmissions and otherauxiliary control systems and safety systems: ABS, ESP, VSС, SRS-AIRBAG etc. So starting my sea career I had extensive technical experience, which allowed me quickly learn ship's systems and mechanisms. I was lucky to work with several a very experienced and competent Engineers from whom I managed to learn technical knowledge as well as skills of organizing workflow and communication with crew members, office department and inspectors. Before receiving the 3rd Engineer license I completed 4 contracts (totally 15 months) as a Wiper and Motorman. In each contract I received positive references and promotions to 3rd Engineer from each Chief Engineer. When I graduated from Odessa Maritime Transport Professional College in 2022 I immediately got the position of 3rd Engineer in German company “INNOVEN” on board AHTS DP1 vessel “LEV TWISTER”. The AHTS was converted to Ploughing Vessel, equipped with A-Frame Bosch Rextrot B.V. (SWL – 250t) and plough (width 20m, weight 90t) for Harwich Channel Deepening Project under control of the Netherland charter “Van Oord”. It was an innovative project using the biggest plough ever built. I was glad to participate in this highly interesting project and gain experience of using unique equipment. I like to get new experience, improve my skills and knowledge and use it in practice. The most important my features in work I guess are wide range of technical skills, ability to work efficiently in a team or independently, calmly and quickly find the right solutions in critical situations in compliance with safety requirements.
